Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your AKA account and the data associated with it. AKA (“Access Korea for All”) is developed by AKA (admin@dwsoft.org), as shown on the Google Play store listing.

1. How to request deletion

You do not need to keep using the app to request deletion. Fill in the form below with the email of the Google account you signed in with and submit it — your request is emailed to us directly.

Prefer email? Write to admin@dwsoft.org with the subject “Account Deletion Request” and your sign-in email.

After we receive your request, we verify it (to make sure it comes from the account owner), delete your account, and send a confirmation reply. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. If you are signed in, you can also delete your account from within the app at Settings → Account → Delete account.

2. Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following:

• Account info — your email, name, and Google account identifier.
• Reviews & contributions — accessibility reports, notes, and votes you submitted are deleted or fully anonymized so they can no longer be linked to you.
• AI assistant input — text you sent to the AI assistant is not retained after processing and is not stored with your account.
• Location data — we do not store your precise location; it is used only at query time and nothing is kept to delete.

3. Data that is retained, and for how long

• Backups — residual copies in encrypted system backups are purged within 90 days of deletion.
• Records required by law — where a specific law requires us to keep certain records, we retain only the minimum required data for the legally mandated period, then delete it. AKA is a free service and does not process payments.
